To realize the commercial, social and cultural programs of Islamic Republic of Iran and in the mission frameworks of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) of Iran, Kerman Science & Technology Park (KSTP) was established on 2006. The main objectives of KSTP are developing of the knowledge based activities and promoting of technology level in the southeast of Iran.
The Kerman province takes the advantages of the abundant regional capacities specially its plenteous natural and specialist human resources, four season climate, industrial, mineral, agricultural potentials and the existence of high level universities and great research centers. Thus, the KSTP is known as the first science and technology park in the southeast of Iran and, it has special position and reputation.
